Network Overview

Having a functional internet connection is the foundation for today's technological productivity.

On-campus students have access to our high-speed Wireless (DuqNet) & Wired connection (see Connecting On Campus for details); for a step-by-step overview of how you will authenticate to the campus network in the Living Learning Centers, click here. Off-campus students, with authorization, can bring their laptops to campus to take advantage of the DuqNet wireless network (with a WPA2 Enterprise compatible device), or connect from home through an ISP (Internet Service Provider). Also found here are some troubleshooting tips for network connection problems.

Faculty, Staff, & Administrators
On-campus, you have access to our high-speed Wireless (DuqNet, with a WPA2 Enterprise compatible device) & Wired connection (requires a Duquesne owned computer). See Connecting On Campus for details.  For off-campus connectivity, you will need an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
