Pre-Requisite Curriculum
With the PMPP core curriculum, you complete the required courses in addition to to the courses for your major. If you choose a major in the humanities area, you can complete these courses and other science courses as electives or as part of your minor area of study.

*Due to the new MCAT in 2015, we highly recommend all students take Biochemistry in order to be ready for that new section on the exam.
Additional courses that are strongly recommended and may be required by some schools include molecular and cell biology, microbiology, physiology and medical ethics.
It is vital that students begin researching the schools of their choice early so they are aware of all curriculum requirements for those particular schools. The classes listed above are the basic requirements.
