My principal passion in life has been teaching and over the course of the years I have been a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools, professor, trainer, dean, and consultant. My consulting includes organizational psychology, clinical psychology, personality of organizations, abnormal psychology, budgeting, creative school financing, staff development, school law, organizational change, benchmarking, ethics, school law, communications and marketing.

I supervise student teachers and administrative interns and conduct seminars and workshops on all topics of our wonderful profession. I enjoy training student teachers and interns preparing for careers in counseling, education and business.

In the past I have taught at the University of Pittsburgh, California University of Pennyslvania, and Carlow University. I have earned several post-graduate degrees, an MBA, an MAT, and an EdD. I have completed post-doctoral studies in psychology, business, and education. I have also written two books and published articles in professional journals. I developed a model for teaching and supervising that is modeled by schools and throughout the world.

I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and have lived here my entire life. I have dedicated my life to academics and athletics my entire life. I participated in all sports as a student-athlete--especially baseball, basketball, and tennis. I played all three sports in high school and college. I attained a national ranking of number 6 in the United States in tennis and played professionally.

What I enjoy most about teaching at Duquesne University is the interaction with my students. Our students are the best!
