Doug has taught graduate courses in liberal studies and social science for the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement since 2005. He is also currently completing a doctoral degree in political science from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Prior to embarking on his PhD, he taught in the History Department at Duquesne for several years after completing two master's degrees in history and liberal studies. His main areas of interest include comparative politics, international relations, and economic development.
