Emily recently completed her PhD in Systematic Theology at Duquesne (2013). Her academic interest and research is primarily concerned with the point of intersection between Christian theology, ethics, and spirituality, which is reflected in hery dissertation, entitled, Whispers of Conversation between Thomas Merton and Sallie McFague on God, Self, and the World: Considering Engaged Spirituality Today.
