James Houlik is a skilled and accessible teacher whose efforts have been key in the development of several generations of highly successful professional saxophonists. His former students are faculty members at prestigious universities, and they can be found in every phase of professional performance in which the saxophone is commonly involved, including some of America's premier military bands.
