Patricia Donohue, mezzo-soprano, attended the Oberlin Conservatory (B.M. 1983) and The New England Conservatory of Music (M.M. 1985). Extensive studies with teacher artists Richard Miller, Helen Hodam, and Mildred Miller. Coachings and masterclasses with Frances Yeend, Mimi Lerner, and Eleanor Steber. Piano studies with Frances Walker. Opera roles in productions of Amahl and the Night Visitors, The Barber of Seville, The Bartered Bride, The Ballad of Baby Doe, Cendrillon, The Marriage of Figaro, and Susannah, among others. Musical theater credits include Candide, Oliver!, A Little Night Music, Godspell, and The Sound of Music. Faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama Pre-College since 1998. Chapel organist for The Sisters of St. Francis. Alto soloist for Rodef Shalom Congregation since 1993. Professional affiliations include National Association of the Teachers of Singing, and AGMA.
