Stephan Schenk, M.B.A.'99

President & CEO of TD Group US Holdings (TDGUS)

Stephan Schenk, is President & CEO of TD Group US Holdings (TDGUS).

Stephan was previously Chief Auditor, TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the independent assessment of the Bank’s key processes and controls and managing the talented group of individuals who conduct internal audits for the Bank.

Stephan served as Head of Operational Risk Management where he was responsible for the Operational Risk program development and implementation across TD Bank. There, he led a staff of risk management professionals and subject matter experts to execute a strategy, encompassing sound governance and operating structures, to ensure operational risk is distinctly considered in business activities and strategic decision-making processes.

Before joining TD in May of 2012, Stephan served as SVP & Chief Operational Risk Officer at PNC Financial Services, leading the Basel/AMA-based program and capital model implementation. During his thirteen years at PNC, he also served in multiple roles and senior management functions in technology, risk management, security, program management and human resources.

Since 2005, Stephan has served as the chairman of the alumni advisory board at Duquesne University where he also teaches Enterprise Risk Management in the Graduate Business School.

Stephan graduated with an MBA from Duquesne University in 1999. He has also completed multiple technical training programs, including the Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) and Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) as well as the Advanced Risk Management Program at Wharton and the Leading Change & Innovation Program at the University of Chicago.

Stephan, a native of Austria, currently resides with his wife and two sons in Moorestown, N.J.
