Paul Klein teaches law and ethics in the Palumbo/Donahue Schools of Business. His coursework in the MBA program includes Law for the Executive and Employment Law for Managers. In the undergraduate program he teaches Business Law, Business Ethics, Contracts and Legal Aspects of Human Resources Management. He also teaches Legal Aspects of Sports in the Master's Program in Sports Leadership and Legal Issues for Leaders in the Master's in Leadership Program. He has served on both the Undergraduate and Graduate School Curriculum committees as well as the Internship and Placement Committee. He previously chaired the business school Bylaws Committee. He currently serves on the university's Honors College Advisory Board. He is the faculty advisor to the student chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management and the Chair of the Beard Institute Leadership in Ethics Student Award Committee. He is also a member of the faculty cohort for the Gateway to Business course which is required of all entering freshmen in the Palumbo School of Business
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Professor Klein has also conducted legal issues and sexual harassment training through the university's Center for Economic Transformation. Client firms have included Alcoa, Heinz, Westinghouse, PNC, BNYMellon, Dick/Trumbull Corp and the Constructor's Association of Western Pennsylvania. He has also participated in the Rotary Clubs annual Ethics Symposium and presented at the U.S. Department of Energy's EEO Conference in Pittsburgh.
