Amber Benedict

Amber Benedict is a Vice President of Global Client Onboarding within the Asset Servicing Department at The Bank of New York Mellon. Her current responsibilities include; onboarding new business and legal entities to BNY Mellon in compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer Policy. She also facilitates trust and custody contract negotiations with internal counsel and client's legal teams, as well as working with risk and lines of business management to ensure any contract deviations are in compliance with our corporate policy.

Amber has been with The Bank of New York Mellon for eight years. She has been in her current role within Asset Servicing for three years and was a part of Corporate Trust Sales and Relationship management for five years after completing her undergraduate degree.

While working at The Bank of New York Mellon Amber has volunteered for numerous philanthropy organizations as well as fundraisers for local charities. When working in Corporate Trust she helped to chair the Community Partnership Program for her department, where she coordinated volunteer events for five local charities around Pittsburgh allowing over 120 employees to participate. She is currently an active member of the Women's Initiative Network (WIN), a volunteer for the BNY Employee Engagement Committee, and a participant in the Mentor Initiative for new campus hires within Client Service Delivery at BNY Mellon.

Amber currently lives east of the city in North Huntingdon with her husband Josh Benedict (also a Duquesne Alumni) and their two dogs. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Amber holds a Masters of Business Administration with a Management concentration from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science degree with Marketing minor from Gannon University.
