Cisco Systems Wins Inaugural Green to Gold Award

The Beard Institute's inaugural Green to Gold award, which recognizes commercial success in sustainable business practices, was presented to Cisco Systems Inc. at the third annual Bead Symposium on Sustainability: The Bridge to the Future on Nov. 10, 2009. Andrew Winston, co-author of Green to Gold, a widely read book on sustainable business, and Business School Dean Alan Miciak presented the award to Laura Ipsen, senior vice president of Cisco Systems Inc., Smart Grid.
