Dominion Distinguished Scholar Award Presented at Duquesne

Duquesne University student Nicole Carfang of Delmont received the 2013 Dominion Distinguished Scholar Award, which is is presented to the graduating senior of the Palumbo•Donahue School of Business who best exemplifies the intellect, character and business insight needed to succeed in today's global economy.

Carfang, president of Duquesne's Sports Marketing Association for the last four years, helped to establish a mentoring program that links Duquesne students to Pittsburgh Public School children. A tutor on campus, Carfang has helped others in the business school to gain the skills they need.
