Operationalizing Sustainability for Clarity and Compliance; Dr. Robert Sroufe and MBA Graduate Students Conclude Research Project

Dr. Robert Sroufe, Murrin Chair of Global Competitiveness, Beard Institute Director of Applied Sustainability & Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management, Alison Steele and Danielle Jolliff, both MBA graduates of the John F. Donahue Duquesne University School of Business, concluded a research project on "Operationalizing Sustainability: Clarity and Compliance Project."

This field based work, interviewing executives at leading multinational corporations, explores how and why sustainability professionals and their respective companies have defined sustainability, integrated new practices, and worked with supply chain professionals. The research and publication of findings are being made possible by an Alcoa Foundation Systems Change grant.
