Several scholarships and awards are available to students majoring in Supply Chain Management. Current students should visit DORI for application instructions.

Institute for Supply Management Scholarship

The ISM-Pittsburgh Board of Directors has allocated funds for one $2,500 scholarship to assist a Duquesne University student who is pursuing the Supply Chain Management undergraduate or graduate degree. Candidates may apply for the award each year, but may only win the award one time.

R. Gene Richter Scholarship

Winners of the R. Gene Richter Scholarship are awarded tuition assistance of $5,000 (December graduates will be awarded $2,500). In addition, Richter Scholars are enrolled in a mentoring program where they are paired with an established executive in the field.

Current-year recipients are invited to attend the Annual International Supply Management Conference sponsored by the Institute for Supply ManagementTM (ISM) in Las Vegas May 6-9, 2007. They will also be the guests of honor at a special Awards Presentation Dinner on Monday, May 7. Richter Scholars will be escorted to this banquet by their mentors.

One year after graduation and completion of real-world experience in the field of supply chain management, Richter Scholars are invited to participate in an exclusive, invitation-only Power Conference for the executive leadership of the profession held concurrently during the Annual Conference by the Institute for Supply ManagementTM.

Traffic Club of Pittsburgh

Competitive scholarship for Junior and Senior students studying Supply Chain Management (minimum 2.75 QPA). Applications accepted in February.

The Club will also extend a two-year membership in the Club to each candidate submitting a qualified scholarship application. Club dues during this two-year period will be waived.
