Summer Study Abroad Programs

The Palumbo-Donahue School of Business is offering three Maymester trips offered by our overseas partner universities.

Step #1

Select two (2) Business Core courses from the list of five (5) below. These courses will be offered online for you to complete while you travel abroad and after you return.

  1. MGMT 261 - Intro to Management
  2. MKTG 271 - Intro to Marketing
  3. BUAD 490 - Global Insights/Econ (also fulfills University UCOR requirement Global Diversity)
  4. MGMT 368W - Business Ethics
  5. SCMG 267 - Supply Chain Operations

Step #2

Choose a location! (2018 locations TBD)

Locations:

England and SpainExperience a blend of the English country side and historic city as your program begins at the University of Chester in northern England, and progresses to London all with a focus on English culture and business practices.

China and JapanStart your program in the historic yet modern capital of China, Beijing, with Duquesne University's long time academic partners at Jiaotong University. Experience both contemporary and ancient cultures of the world's third most populous city, and the surrounding region.

Budapest, Hungary & Dublin, IrelandThe program begins in a city that once you visit you will not want to leave, Budapest. This culturally rich old city pair on the Danube River is a hub for business in Eastern Europe and the great Duquesne academic partners from Central European University provide an unforgettable business and cultural experience.
