Dr. David Carbonara
Master's Program in Instructional Technology
David D. Carbonara (Ed.D. Science Education, Educational Research & Methodology, University of Pittsburgh, '90) is committed to preparing teachers to integrate technology into their classrooms and specialists to serve as technology coaches in schools, colleges, universities and private industry. He leads the effort to offer the PDE Online Teacher Endorsement and to incorporate Spiritan Pedagogy to describe how students and teachers walk together in life.
Dr. Misook Heo
Doctoral Program in Instructional Technology and Leadership
Misook Heo (Ph.D. Information Science, University of Pittsburgh, '00) teaches courses focusing on the design and development of learning environments. Her research interests include user studies on information systems and information visualization.
Dr. Joseph Kush
Joseph C. Kush (Ph.D. School Psychology, Arizona State University, ‘84) teaches within the Instructional Technology Program, and his research interests include issues related to assessment, test fairness, and using technology to assess cognitive processing and enhance learning. He has published numerous peer reviewed journal articles, written several books and book chapters, and frequently presents papers at national and international conferences. He is a Visiting Professor at the Shaanxi Institute of International Trade and Commerce in Xi'an China, an accomplished guitarist, and uses Macintosh computers exclusively.
Instructional Technology Program
