BCIT Graduate Course Work


The BCIT program is modular so that if a graduate student has completed a business program in a school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, they only have to take the Education and the Instructional Technology courses to earn a master’s degree and the PDE certificate (license), titled, BCIT – Business, Computer, and Information Technology.

The following lists the number of education credits necessary after completing an accredited business program.

Entrance track - 9 credits
Diversity - 9 credits
Professional Track - 9 credits
Student Teaching - 6 credits
Instructional Technology - 9 credits

Option to add Instructional Technology Specialist - 6 credits

BCIT is a K-12 instructional area; therefore,  the three (3)  PAPA: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Fundamental Subjects:  Content Konwledge 551C or 0511P tests are required along with Business Education 0101 tests to receive an initial PA Certificate.  Visit the SAS Certification and Tesing website for information.
