National Council for the Accreditation of Teachers Education (NCATE)

The Duquesne University's Education Unit is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teachers Education (NCATE). NCATE’s performance-based system of accreditation fosters competent classroom teachers and other educators who work to improve the education of all P-12 students.

The Program in Instructional Technology also received NCATE accreditation from its Specialty Area Standards Board, known as the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT).
