Informational Open House

Duquesne University’s School of Education enjoys a national reputation in the preparation of educational leaders. Duquesne was one of 22 research universities selected by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching to participate in a national effort to rethink and redesign the professional doctorate in education. That effort, known as the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED), is now federally funded and headquartered in Duquesne’s School of Education. As a consequence of our CPED efforts, Duquesne’s School of Education has revised its Ed.D. program in educational leadership. The first cohort will start classes in the Fall semester, 2011. Applications are due March 4, 2011.
