Cancellation Policy: The Department of Athletic Training reserves the right to cancel a scheduled continuing education course. Courses may be cancelled for a variety of reasons including but not limited to inclement weather, campus emergency, speaker cancellation/withdrawal, or low course enrollment. In those instances where Duquesne University must cancel the event, attendees will be granted a full refund of the course tuition. In the event that an attendee should cancel or be unable to attend, full, partial or no refunds will be awarded based upon timing of the cancellation. Attendees canceling two weeks prior to the event will receive a full tuition refund. Any attendee cancelling less than 2 weeks of the event will be charged a 25% processing fee to cover the cost of materials, supplies and/or food being provided for the event. In the event that an attendee fails to attend the course and does not notify the Department in advance, no tuition refund will be granted.

Duquesne University Department of Athletic Training (BOC AP#P-793) is an approved provider by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers.This program is eligible for a maximum of 2 CEUs within category A and 1 CEU is in the process of approval for EBP. In the event that the EBP program is not approved, all three CEU's will be be within category A. Athletic Trainers should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.
