OTD Application Requirements
Applications will be accepted starting Summer of 2013
Academic Requirements:
- Completed a degree in occupational therapy with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Current state license and NBCOT Certification
- Current membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
Application Requirements:
- Completion of online application through OTCAS
- Completion of Duquesne supplemental application
- Official transcripts from all schools attended submitted to OTCAS
- Personal statement of no more than 2 pages that describes the applicant's personal and professional development goals, expectations of how this degree will contricute to their professional growth and initial descriptions of potential doctoral capstone projects.
- Two letters of recommendation from a professional or academic source
- Phone interview with the department
- Agreement to attend on-campus OTD Orientation and Capstone events
