Additional Program Costs

 

While many of the costs for equipment, lab supplies, and learning materials are covered through student tuition and fees, there are other costs that are the financial obligation of the students enrolled in the Physical Therapy Program.  A summary of those costs are listed below; however, this list is neither exhaustive nor exclusive to all student financial obligations.

 

Professional Year 1

  • Books and required course materials
  • Lab Kit
  • Anatomy tool deposit (will be returned when equipment is returned at the end of the spring semester)
  • Physical examination and inoculation costs
  • DUPTA and APTA professional dues
  • Transportation to off campus clinical sites

Professional Year 2

  • Books and required course materials
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Health Care Worker certification
  • Physical examination and inoculation costs (as required by clinical education site)
  • PPD inoculation (spring semester)
  • Health Insurance
  • Certified Background Check
  • Drug Screen
  • Transportation to off camus clinical sites
  • Transportation and housing for clinical education rotations
  • Clinical education clothing (scrubs, lab coat, uniform as required by clinical education site)
  • DUPTA  and APTA professional dues

Professional Year 3

  • Health Insurance
  • PPD inoculation (fall semester)
  • Certified Background Check, up-date
  • Drug screen
