Enrollment Steps
  1. Send a final official undergraduate transcript to our office. The School of Law must have a final original transcript and cannot use the copy you filed with LSAC.  The transcript should indicate that your undergraduate degree has been conferred. Have your undergraduate school mail the transcript directly to

    Duquesne University School of Law
    Office of Admissions
    600 Forbes Avenue
    Pittsburgh, PA 15282

  2. Send LSAC a copy of your final official undergraduate transcript. Make sure that LSAC has a copy of your transcript with your last semester of grades, indicating "degree conferred."

  3. Send us a recent head shot photo. This can be a digital picture taken with your cell phone and e-mailed to lawadmissions@duq.edu. Please do not wear sunglasses or hats in the picture. The head shot will be used to create a 1L student viewbook and professor seating charts.

Financial Aid

Loans - to apply for federal unsubsidized Stafford ($20,500) or GradPLUS loans (up to the cost of attendance), you must fill out the FAFSA online and enter Duquesne University's school code 003258 to have the results sent to us. You do not need to fill out a financial aid application with Duquesne University because the Office of Admissions has already sent the Financial Aid Office your admissions information. Once the Financial Aid Office receives your FAFSA results, they can begin working on your financial aid package. Priority deadline: May 31

Scholarships - merit scholarship notifications go out by email within 3 weeks after admission. All admitted students are considered; there is no application process. Last year, about 70% of the incoming class received a scholarship award; about 30% of the class did not receive a merit scholarship award.
