CLE Scholarship Policy
The Duquesne University School of Law is committed to providing low cost continuing legal education and to providing scholarship assistance for our programs for attorneys demonstrating financial hardship.
Our policy is to provide at least twelve hours of our annual offerings at a cost of approximately 1/3 the average per credit hour cost of mandatory CLE courses offered for Pennsylvania lawyers. We also endeavor to provide several credits annually at no charge.
- In order to qualify for a discount or fee waiver for any program, application should be made in writing at least ten days prior to the subject program to: Director of Continuing Legal Education, Duquesne University School of Law, 600 Locust Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15282-0700. This letter should provide reasons for the scholarship based upon financial hardship.
- The determination of the discount or other scholarship is within the sole discretion of the director.
- All applications for scholarships will be kept confidential.
