Advance Reading eReserve materials for First-Year Legal Research & Writing Students
First-year students can access course materials, including Advance Readings, by visiting the Center's eReserves page.
To access the PDF files, go to http://duquesnelaw.docutek.com/eres/ and click on “DCLI Electronic Course Reserves.” Search for the “Legal Research and Writing” course, and download/print all the files you find in the “Advance Readings” folder.
Updated eReserves Brochure now available online
DCLI maintains a collection of electronic course reserve materials. The Center offers an online eReserve guide. The brochure summarizes everything you'll need to know about eReserves in an easy-to-understand question and answer format. eReserves Brochure
Maps of the Center for Legal Information (DCLI)
The following links to maps of each floor of DCLI will provide not only orientation of the facilities, but also a valuable guide for locating resource titles. The entrance to DCLI is located on the Second Floor, or "top" floor. The First Floor is the "middle" floor of DCLI, and the Ground Floor is the "bottom" floor.

The Center offers an online "Directory of Services" brochure. The brochure summarizes services and facilities information for both the Duquesne Center for Legal Information (DCLI) and the Allegheny County Law Library (ACLL). Students will find useful information regarding hours of operation, staff directory, DCLI/ACLL Web site, SOLCAT, Borrowing Materials, Course Reserves, eReserves, Legal Research Help, E-Reference, and Online Research Resources. DuqNet Wireless Overview
The Duquesne University School of Law provides wireless network access to all law students. DuqNet uses WPA2 Enterprise encryption. This encryption is very secure and is the recommended security for business and other large wireless networks. Most laptop models from the last two years are compatible with this standard. Students will be required to have previously initialized their Multipass credentials in order to connect.
