Reserves
Before the start of each semester, all faculty members will receive a request form to indicate which center material should be reserved under your name for the students in your particular classes. If you would like to place additional items on reserve during the semester, contact the Reference Librarian (Chuck Sprowls at 412.396.5686)
- Current reserves may be found on SOLCAT.
Don't forget that eReserves are also available and are very popular with students. More information on Faculty eReserves.
Requesting Items from Other Libraries (ILL)
If the Center does not possess a particular source, it may be obtained from another OCLC member library. Availability is confirmed rapidly through WorldCat. Urgent requests for small documents may also be processed by fax. For assistance, contact the Circulation Supervisor (Mrs. McBride) at 412.396.5017.
Faculty Liaison Program
The Faculty Liaison Program assigns each professional librarian to a group of faculty members to better serve their individual needs. Any comments or suggestions regarding library facilities or services may be directed to your liaison librarian or the Director. Please visit the following link to view more information regarding support for faculty teaching, support for faculty scholarship, important contact information, and accompanying faculty-librarian liaison assignments:
Requesting New Books/Resources
If you are aware of books or other materials which you believe the Center should own, please contact your liaison librarian to order it or complete a Faculty/Staff Request form and give it to the Assistant Director for Technical Services (Mrs. Horvath). You will be notified as soon as the item is acquired.
Faculty Profile
Each year, a Faculty Information Profile is distributed to all faculty members. The information gathered from these profiles facilitates the Center's efforts to provide efficient service and keep you informed of new acquisitions in your areas of interest.
Library Blog
In order to easily keep you better informed of important legal research resources and events, the Center has created a blog. Please check out the blog!
