Access for Continuing and Graduating Law Students to Major Legal Databases

Bloomberg Law

Continuing Law Student Access

All law students are permitted to use their Bloomberg Law accounts during the summer without restriction. Bloomberg Law does not have an "academic only" use restriction, so you are not only allowed to use Bloomberg Law during your summer positions, but are encouraged to do so.

If you have not yet registered for your complimentary access to Bloomberg Law, all you need to do is go to http://www.bloomberglaw.com/activate and fill out the required information. Please make sure to use your law school email address. Do not worry about the blue activation code near the top of the page; you do not need it.

Graduate Access

Bloomberg Law gives law students free access for six months after your graduation date.  Remember to activate your account prior to graduation!  Follow the instructions above to activate your account.
