Criminal Prosecution Externship Program

Course Description

A weekly classroom seminar will cover all facets of criminal law from a suspect's arrest through the trial and post-trial stages. An internship in the District attorney's Office will rotate the student through each stage of the justice process in accordance with the topics being covered in the classroom. This course would be best suited to a small number of students as the instructors would blend interactive student participation with traditional doctrinal instruction. (6 credits: 3 classroom credits, 3 non-classroom credits)
