Professional Administration Curriculum

The comprehensive 36-credit curriculum consists of twelve 3-credit courses. This includes the Leadership Core (12 credits), the Professional Administration concentration (15 credits), and graduate electives (9 credits). There is no thesis requirement.


Professional Administration Concentration (15 credits)

  • Leadership in Administration
  • Accounting and Budgeting 
  • Personnel Administration 
  • Information Communication 
  • Applied Leadership Ethics

Leadership Core (12 credits)

  • Introduction to the Graduate Study of Leadership
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Leading People and Managing Relationships
  • Leadership Capstone

Electives (9 credits)

Students may choose electives from courses offered in any graduate program in the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement. Six credits are transferable into the program from other graduate institutions, with approval of the program director.
