This degree combines courses from Duquesne University's School of Leadership & Professional Advancement and John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business.

How Long Will it Take to Complete This Degree?

It is possible to complete the degree in two years. Courses are offered online or every other Saturday in the fall and spring and for eight consecutive weeks in the summer semester. If you take two courses for the fall, spring and summer semesters, the degree is completed in two years.

What is the Difference Between an MBA, the MSLB and the MLLS Degree?

The MBA curriculum is structured to provide fundamental skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, including a solid foundation in key functional areas of business including managing operations, financial health, and statistical thinking.

The MSLB curriculum is structured to prepare skillful leaders while enhancing and improving their ability to recognize and identify specific ethical issues and place them within a management context subject to analysis, possible resolution and decision-making action. Students will explore ethical challenges as they arise in the workplace, in the global marketplace and the management of technology in an ever-expanding information society.

The MLLS curriculum incorporates all of the disciplines that contribute to skillful leadership. Students develop and refine critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, skills to motivate and empower others, and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.

Am I Required to Take the GRE for Admission to the MSLB Program?

The GRE is not required. The requirements for admission to the MSLB degree are an application, an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, a minimum of two years of professional experience, a 500 word statement describing your academic and professional goals and an interview (via phone for online program applicants) with an academic advisor.
