Palliative Care Ethics

Dr. Henk ten Have

The debate on end-of-life care continues to be an important area of research in bioethics. This project is specifically focusing on palliative care and hospice care, and related ethical issues. In most countries, palliative care is rather underdeveloped. From an ethical perspective, it is important to argue for further development and application of palliative care in order to enhance the quality of care at the end of human life.
