Dual Degree with M.S. in Multimedia Technology
The Department of Communication & Rhetorical Studies and The Department of Journalism and Multimedia Arts have created a plan that allows you to receive a degree in both programs after completing a 48-credit curriculum. Earning both degrees would normally require a total of 75 credits if completed separately.
The faculty of both programs agree that this course of study will be especially advantageous if you wish to pursue a career in communication and technology in the corporate world.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for this dual degree program, you must apply separately to the Department of Communication & Rhetorical Studies and to the Department of Journalism and Multimedia Arts. You must be accepted by both programs, and must declare your intent to pursue this academic program at the time of application to Duquesne University. You cannot transfer into this dual degree program following acceptance into another program of study.
