Computational Math - Admissions
To Apply
First Step: Online Application and GRE reporting:
All applicants must fill out and submit a Duquesne online application form:
Online Application for U.S. citizens and permanent residents (or Green Card holders)
Online Application for International applicants (not citizens, permanent residents, or Green Card holders)
For GRE score reports, the Duquesne code is 2196, department code 0703.
Second Step: Sending of Additional Materials
Your additional application materials -- the three letters of
recommendation, all transcripts, and statement of purpose - should be
sent online through Interfolio. The link is available at www.interfolio.com. You will
find Duquesne listed as a university to which Interfolio sends
materials. We require three letters of recommendation, one of which
should be from an academic source.
If you are unable to send the materials via Interfolio, you may send
these additional application materials by mail (the letter of
recommendation form must be downloaded from the Letter
of Recommendation Form to send to your references). If you are
sending materials via mail, the materials should be sent to:
Graduate Office
Duquesne University
600 Forbes Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15282
Application Deadlines
Applications for admission as a degree candidate with financial aid should be submitted no later than March 1st for the academic year beginning in the following September. Candidates applying for admission without financial aid may apply up to two months prior to the beginning of the term in which the student desires to begin graduate work.
Graduate assistantships are available to outstanding candidates.
Non-degree Applicants
Non-degree students may earn up to six credits in the program. Non-degree admission is based on a review of transcripts for previous academic work.
