Welcome to Duquesne!  My name is Sarah Durney and I have been advising for three years.  I really like working with students in the College.  The Bluff is an amazing campus. it is very close to the downtown and Oakland, but self-contained.

Fun Facts about Me

  • I am a 2005 Duquesne graduate.  I majored in Psychology and World Literature and minored in Classical Civilizations and Biology.
  • I live in one of the local neighborhoods, Highland Park.  Some things that I enjoy doing in my free time are going to shows, reading, walking, and exploring new places.
  • I teach a class in the fall, CLPR 201 Liberal Arts Seminar: Navigating Major Terrain, with one of my colleagues, Mr. Bill Klewien.  We developed this course for undecided Sophomores last fall and it’s a lot of fun to work with students outside of the office!
  • I’ve had the opportunity to work at summer institutes for Northwestern and Johns Hopkins Universities.
