Women's and Gender Studies
Women's and Gender Studies (WSGS) can lead to an undergraduate second major, undergraduate minor, or a graduate certificate. Each program of study:
- Includes courses by faculty whose research and teaching draw from women's and gender studies
- Encourages students to consider how gender affects women and men in all parts of life
- Introduces students to the histories and accomplishments of women
Coursework undertaken in the Center for Women's and Gender Studies helps students further their skills and awareness of these topics, a foundation that will serve them well in careers in the arts, business, education, journalism, law, science, and social services.
