Wind Symphony/Symphony Band

The Wind Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Robert C. Cameron, has received national attention through its performances at the Eastern Division College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) conference in New Hampshire and the Golden Anniversary CBDNA national convention in Kansas City. Guest artists and conductors have included Brian Bowman, Allen Vizutti, Norman Dello Joio, Donald Sinta, H. Robert Reynolds, Larry Rachleff, Eugene Corporon, Stanley DeRusha, James Walker and many others.

Using the player pool concept, the ensemble performs music ranging from works requiring as few as eight players to as many as 45. Flexible instrumentation provides members with a variety of responsibilities, challenges and playing experiences.
