MPSOM and the School of Nursing Welcome New Faculty Member

We are happy to welcome a new faculty member to our community: Noah Potvin, Assistant Professor of Music Therapy. Dr. Potvin has a joint position between the Mary Pappert School of Music and the School of Nursing.

There are multiple studies that address the benefits of music in serious health issues. The School of Nursing looks forward to collaborating with Dr. Potvin to improve health through music.

Potvin is a board-certified music therapist with expertise in music therapy in end-of-life care settings. He comes to Duquesne from the University of Dayton, where he served as a Lecturer in Music Therapy.
