School of Music Professors Participate in Tribute to Paris

On, Wednesday, November 18, Dr. Meghan Hynson (Visiting Assistant Professor, Ethnomusicology) and Paul Miller (Visiting Assistant Professor, Music Theory) participated in a memorial service for the victims of the Paris attacks at the University of Pittsburgh. Together, they performed with Pitt's Gamelan Ensemble.

The Chancellor of Pitt offered comments as well as the Consular Representative of France in Pittsburgh and the Mayor Bill Peduto's spokesman. It was a moving outdoor ceremony that attracted over 150 curious onlookers.
