TI:ME 2B: Real World Digital Audio

Real World Digital Audio covers basic music technology skills and focuses on digital audio production. Participants will explore the latest software and hardware in the School of Music's Music Technology Center. The course will help music educators effectively integrate digital audio workstations into their teaching, whether they have a well-equipped studio or just a few assorted workstations. Participants will have access to the University's sound recording and mastering studio, as well as its excellent collections of recording gear. Participants who complete this course will create several recordings using various technologies from handheld to DAWs. Software used in the class will be Pro Tools with Waves Gold Bundle Plug-ins. Class size is limited to 16 students.
