Graduate Student Organization of the Biological Sciences (GsOBs)

GsOBs is a new organization on campus for graduate students in the Biology graduate program.

This group was formed to bring the graduate students together for both professional and social events. We have hosted invited speakers for the weekly seminar, organized a grant-writing workshop for graduate students and post-docs and coordinated departmental picnics.  We have had a few fundraisers, including a bake sale and a chili sale.  This year we hope to continue and build on our success in advancing the interests of the Biology grad students.
