ELECTIVES: Biochemistry I is strongly suggested as an elective.

ADVANCED TOPICS: **M.S. students are required to take at least three 1-credit Advanced Topic short courses. Note: The topics for the courses change each semester.

SEMINARS: All graduate students are required to attend ALL departmental seminars each semester.

FULL-TIME STATUS: Eight (8) credits are considered full time for BSNES graduate students.

RESEARCH CREDITS: Plan A M.S. students take research credits and Plan B M.S. students take electives to meet the 32 credit hour requirement.

TOTAL NUMBER OF CREDITS FOR DEGREES: 32 credit hours for an M.S.

CONTINUOUS REGISTRATION: Students must be registered for the semester in which their degree is awarded. For M.S. candidates, continuous registration can only be used upon completion of all M.S. course credits and thesis research credits. Continuous registration cannot be combined with a course for credit.

GRADUATION: Students planning on being up for graduation will complete the process with the BSNES Dean's Office when they complete their normal registration.
