About Chemistry and Biochemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is dedicated to innovative research and education. State-of-the-art equipment such as mass and NMR spectrometers, X-ray diffraction equipment, and a supercomputer keep the department at the forefront of current research techniques.  Year-round research opportunities are available to students at all academic levels.

The department currently has 17 full-time faculty members, approximately 50 graduate students, and 80 undergraduate students.
