The expressed purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for researchers to present their work in a public forum and generate a peer-reviewed proceedings. Speaker preference was given to unpublished, foundation-funded research.
Topics include biological, geological, and environmental investigations, fugitive methane migration, air and water quality, and human and animal health, as well as the social, political, and legal implications.
