Topics in Protein Biochemistry:
Protein Purification and Analyses of Protein-Protein Interactions
Fall 2017 - 202 Mellon Hall
ABOUT THE COURSE:
This 5-session course will cover a number of topics in protein biochemistry, ranging from purification and detection methods, to various methods to measure protein-protein (and protein-nucleic acid) interactions. Students will learn fundamental basics of different techniques, when to use which ones, and how to design, optimize and analyze experiments using these methods. The class sessions will be a combination of lecture and presentations/discussions of papers using these methods to elucidate important cell biological problems.
