Service Learning in Science
This program is designed to help students in the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (BSNES) explore the interrelationship of science, social engagement, and service action projects.
In order to accommodate an emphasis on the integration between science and several facets of community service — such as science and community interaction, undergraduate research opportunities and student-faculty partnerships, and career development within the communities around us — BSNES seeks to offer a service learning program that will build sustainable connections between Duquesne University and the Greater Pittsburgh community.
