Notice to Constituents
July 6, 2016
The School of Nursing is currently preparing for the reaccreditation process with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The site visit is scheduled for September 14 to 16, 2016. As part of the CCNE accreditation process, there is opportunity for program constituents and other interested parties to submit, in writing, comments concerning the program's qualifications for accreditation.
At least two months before the scheduled on-site evaluation, we are required to notify our constituents of our upcoming reaccreditation. Written constituent or third-party comments must be received by CCNE 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation, by August 24, 2016. You may submit written comments to:
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
Attn: Third-Party Comments
One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530
Washington, DC 20036
- or -
Please note that CCNE shares third-party comments with the evaluation team prior to the on-site evaluation, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the Board. During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments, if any, that relate to the accreditation standards.
If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 412-396-6553.
