About The Center

The Center for Continuing Dental Education helps dental professionals get accurate, up-to-date information about the latest pharmacology trends and therapies impacting their patients.  As Western Pennsylvania’s only school of pharmacy offering pharmacology education for dental professionals, we provide the knowledge that is essential for safe and effective dental treatment of patients with complex medical histories.

Services Provided/Offered

The Center provides dental professionals with up-to-date information on pharmacology trends and therapies. The Center also offers pharmacology education for dental professionals to ensure that patients receive the safest and most effective dental care.

Accomplishments

The Mylan School of Pharmacy has been designated an approved program provider by the Pennsylvania constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).  As such, this program provider’s continuing education units (CEU) are accepted by the AGD for credit applicable toward membership maintenance and Fellowship/Mastership Credit.
