Class Of 2021 Receives White Coats At 2017 White Coat Ceremony
Family members and friends of nearly 200 student pharmacists gathered at the A.J. Palumbo Center at Duquesne University on August 20 for the 15th annual White Coat Ceremony, which serves to mark pharmacy students' first year of professional study as pharmacists.
Hosted by the School of Pharmacy, this year's ceremony featured students entering the third year of the school's six-year Pharm.D. program. The students were presented with white coats that they will wear during their laboratory work and experiential education, and recited a pledge of professionalism.
Chad Hildebrand, Pharm.D., P'05, CEO/Founder of Remedy Hike, delivered the keynote address at the White Coat Ceremony.
Rite Aid Pharmacy sponsored a reception following the ceremony.
