Registration - Spring 2016

Registration for current students will begin on October 26, 2015, and most time tickets are staggered based on your class year. Eligible students can use Self-Service Banner (SSB) to register for classes. Banner is accessed through DORI, the University's portal. Students must have a Multipass account to log on to DORI and access the Banner system. Freshmen with fewer than 15 earned credits and non-degree students must meet with their advisors in order to register for classes.

Plan Your Courses for Registration with RAPP

RAPP (Review Academic Program Progress) is a tool for students to review their progress through their academic programs and identify the classes they still need to take. Students considering changing their academic program may also use RAPP to review how their coursework to date applies to the new program, and which additional courses must still be fulfilled. Please note that this is not an official degree evaluation and is intended only for the purposes of registration planning.

To use RAPP, log into DORI, then go to Self-Service Banner > Student Information > Registration > Review Academic Program Progress (RAPP).

Registration Start-Dates and Times for Spring 2016

IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL STUDENTS

Online registration in Self-Service Banner will begin at 7:00am for each class year according to the table below. Appointments made with advising staff will begin after 8:30am.

Since online registration will begin before the University opens for the day, it is critical that you confirm your ability to register for classes before your Registration Time Ticket begins.  Check in Self-Service Banner for holds that stop registration, and make sure you have a Registration Time Ticket.  Log on to DORI and click on Self-Service Banner, then follow these steps:

  • Time tickets: Self-Service Banner > Student Information > Registration > Registration Status

  • Holds: Self-Service Banner > Student Information > Holds (Holds on a student's record will also appear at the top of the DORI page after logon.)

The final registration and add/drop period for Spring 2016 is January 6 through January 12, 2016.  Registration and add/drop ends for undergraduate and graduate students on January 12th.
