The Power Center Ballroom is available for use by Duquesne University alumni and affiliated partners. All events are subject to an approval process.

The ballroom will be available to you one hour prior to the event start and 30 minutes following the event end time, unless otherwise coordinated with the Ballroom Events Coordinator
The ballroom may not always be accessible by the Forbes Avenue entrance—review current building hours prior to arrival.
The earliest the ballroom can be opened is 6:30am
The latest event end time is 10:30pm

Taping anything to the walls, doors, windows, and audio/visual equipment is not permitted within the ballroom, Forbes Ave. and 5the floor lobbies and Sklar skywalk - easels are available for sign display
Confetti, silly string and aerosol sprays of any kind are not permitted
Candles are not permitted
All electric needs (such as for vendors, DJs or bands) should be communicated to the Ballroom Events Coordinator approximately 10 days prior to your event
All food and beverages for events must be coordinated through and served by Duquesne University Catering Services
Food and beverage from outside sources is not permitted
Cash bars are not permitted
It is the responsibility of the group using the ballroom to provide their own alcohol (internal events excluded); bar set up and and bartenders can be coordinated through Duquesne University Catering Services
Room Set Up
All physical room set up needs should be coordinated with your Events Coordinator and confirmed 3 business days prior to your event date
If physical alterations are needed on the day of they event, they should be communicated to the on-site Events Coordinator
There is no available space for storing items prior to or after events
All items brought in for an event must be removed at the end of the event
